I want to lose atleast 30lbs by the end of the mounth, and I know that if it works I can do it. I just want to be sure it will because if I try and it doesnt I will be disapointed in the end. Im 17 and I met my boyfriend on here, in August it will be 2 years. We are finally meeting. I live in Fortuna Califorina and he lives in Porterville. Its about 10 hours away. Im going on an Amtrack bus or Grey Hound and Im going camping with his family. We have waited all this time and I want to look good for him. Im supposed to leave in about 3 and a half weeks, July 29th. I know I can do anything it takes to drop the 30 lbs. I kinda have a plan and I want to know if you think it will work. I was going to eat less than 10-15 carbs a day. I was gunna eat two small salads a day, the dressing has zero carbs. I was also going to walk 3 times a day, and hour each because its really good exercise. And also jump rope about half and hour ever day. I also do other exercies like ab slide, squats, and other ones. I hear people say that they lose 10 lbs in one week, and that would be 30 for me for 3 weeks. And they still have the 10-15 carbs a day and dont do as much exercise. I know that if it works I wil do it. I started today. I did the jump roping and Im gunna go walk at 4. I really think it will work Im just wondering what you think about it. I love Josh so much and I want to look good for him. Im about 180 and I want to get to atleast 150 because thats the 30lbs. What do you think? :help

Jessica, I think it is great that you have a goal and want to work very hard to get there, just try not to set yourself up for disappointment or failure. It is not very likely that you would lose 30 pounds in 3 week, however, it is possible to lose enough to really notice.
Exercise is the key and obviously sticking to the plan, but don't forget to drink tons of water and get lots of rest. The body needs time to recuperate. Adding weight training is essential to serious success. You should be doing 20mins of weight training every other day (3days is good)
If you need help, just check the web for good at home weight training exercises.
Whatever happens in the end, just know that your efforts will pay off, maybe not in the time you expect, but sooner than if you had not tried at all!!
Keep your spirits high!
Blessing,
Karen Smithi will never let food define who i am ever again!!!
