I've been on Induction for a week and a day, and I've only lost about 6 lbs. Do people that aren't that overweight have a slower loss? I'm at a stall right now, can anyone give me some suggestions of things that stop stalls....foods and such?

Also, cheese comes in all forms....string, blocks, shredded, how do you measure your intake?

Most string cheese is one ounce per serving, and yes, the less you have to lose, the slower it seems to come off. I lost 5 pounds in two weeks of incuction so you might think you're losing slowly but I'm jealous! They say you lose 5-10% in induction so it sounds like you are doing great. :yes

Also, make sure you are drinking at ton of water!

Weigh your cheese. Use fitday to measure it. Rule of thumb- don't go over 4 oz. of cheese a day. String cheese is an ounce per stick. Shredded, it's about 1/4 cup for an ounce. Blocks, measure it out.

And 6 pounds in 8 days is GREAT. You're expecting too much... and it's only a stall if you haven't been losing for 4-6 weeks. I think the correct term is more like "plateau"...

And people that aren't that overweight do tend to lose slower, but it really depends on the individual. I'm not that overweight now, and wasn't that overweight to begin with. When I was started, I was less than 20 pounds overweight, but I lost a pound a day [due to my high metabolism]. Fell off the wagon, but got right back on. Gained a bit, and now I'm back to 142/141. Only 10 pounds overweight now! :joy

Also, I've heard that people don't lose consistently.

Have a little patience, and this WOE/WOL will work wonders for you.

Thank you guys so much! I'm curious, someone who isn't too overweight, what do you guys eat in a day? Here's usually what I eat:

Breakfast: Tuna with alittle melted cheese and no carb ranch on the side (tuna is usually considered an afternoon/evening food.....but ehhh who cares!) and a glass of water.

Lunch: Usually corned beef wrapped in lettece with no carb ranch and pork rinds and a glass of water

        Snack: Pork rinds and water

Dinner: Usually some kind of chicken, or maybe hamburgers, but always with cheese and water.
