  • It's been 9 days!!!!

    I'm new to this, however reading all the post seem to be really motivating and think it's going to help me along my journey.
    Well where to start......I'm 25 yrs, SW/193, CW187, height 5'7, female.
    It's alot harder than I thought it would be. My goal is to weigh 160, which is about another 25 pounds in 8 weeks. I'm not sure this is possible, but i would love to hear on opinions to keep my focus. I haven't started working out yet, but after my 2 weeks i'm going to start 3 times a week.
    I'm going on vacation so this is really important plus have a wedding to be in July. So I don't want to be that whale on the beach, or the fat girl in the wedding.
    I need help and your motivation.

    hey welcome to the boards. one thing I am going to suggest is start exercise now, anything, a walk, jog, anything! exercise is extremely important .
    ur goal is fine but dont get discuraged if u stop losing u may hit stalls, just keep with it and if you dont meet your goal you will be smaller then when u began

      is 3x's a week enough? would you suggest cardio or weights?

        everyone is different i do 6 days a week of situps and 5 days of exercise, just total body usually, whatever I feel like, play around with it and find things u like 3 times a week is fine just make sure you do.
        There is excellent exercise challenges going on you should check the board out. it is neat keeps u on the ball.

            on the board the main, it down a few sections at the very end of the section.... try not to do repeat posts

                  i would have put this one in spotlight as ur new pick the best one if u should decide u want to move it see if a mod will. also mods will move them if it is in the wrong section

                    what are some quick easy exercises you can do throughout the day,i have a broken tailbone and cant do sit ups or push ups???
