Today Warwick and I got up at 3 am to attend the ANZAC Day dawn service (it is currently 1017 am here as I post and I'm going back to bed for a nap soon). I threw my warm jacket in the van as it is windy at Tumbulgum, where we go every year. When we got there, sure enough, the wind was cold and I retreived the jacket and put it on.
Well, Warwick started to laugh! When I bought this jacket about 4 years ago (it is a 3XL) I could not zip it up. Today, it went half way round to the back and the sleeves hung down over my fingertips. Looked as though I had my (VERY) big brother's jacket on! Guess I'll have to give this one away and get a new one.
Oh, and several people we see there every year did not recognise me when we went to the local pub (there is no returned services club) for the 'gunfire breakfast' afterwards. What a lovely feeling.
I LOVE Dr Atkins!
