Here we go in all my early morning glory. That's my son, Ryder, letting me know he is ready for juice. No make-up and bed-head is the fashion this morning.

Still got a "poochie" in the gut area. But dern, I feel good!!

Re: One of those moments when you want to cry.

I know I am late in posting, but I just read through the thread and had to comment.

I cried along with that post because I know that feeling of being utterly shocked into fitting into something you thought would never go on again.

I am so happy for you! I myself have a pair of secret skinny jeans waiting for me upstairs. They are a size 14 and when I can put them on, I know I'll be feeling the same way you did when you posted this thread. Right now I have no clue what size I am in a women's jean. I refuse to buy them because they cinch my waist way too much--so I wear a mens size 40. The men's jeans don't curve in at the waist and kill me or make the dreaded "muffin top" happen. lol.

Anyway, I'm so happy for your loss and you look amazing in those jeans. Awesome job!

You are such an inspiration to me. I have to be honest and say that I have been kinda of depressed since this morning because it has been a little over a week and I have only lost two pounds. What did you do that allowed you to lose weight so quickly? Is it the water intake? Excersising? I'm being bery strict, I just don't know what happening?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I'm very, very happy for you.

Re: One of those moments when you want to cry.

Thanks again everyone for all the sweet compliments.

Hey, Bee. I just followed induction for several months then I kinda platued so I started up the OWL rungs, which I had been scared to do (many people are) I was rewarded by the whooshie fairy for being so brave on owl. I also did pilates which ended up being great for my back. I just started working in a brisk 20 minute cardio walk and that has really helped. I wish I had started that earlier. I drink tons of water, about 100-120 oz a day. I also HIGHLY recommend boot camp. I came out of it, not just eating Atkins, but thinking Atkins. It was a very good way to get a handle on the hows and whys of why Atkins has been such a successful way of living for so many people. I also know that having a friend who you can chat back and forth with everyday helped me stick with it. I KNOW I would have messed up way more if it hadn't been for my friend and weightloss partner, Austlyn. I met her in the Spotlight forum when she introduced herself. She is awesome and always supportive. I can get away with not mentioning this and that in the forums. But I am totally honest with her. She knows if I haven't mentioned what I have been eating lately, it's probably because I am messin' it up. We take turns giving each other tough love when we need it. So, I guess that's the secrets to my success. Atkins and a friend.

I will admit now, That I did have a hard few weeks here lately and jumped up 5 pounds. I am back down to only one pound more. Stress is a trigger I need to watch more closely than I had been. Oh, and don't eat pizza. Unless it's the LC pizza. thanks again for being so sweet.
