  • Goal!

    Well, I gave the scales a try and it said I had dropped below my goal (.2 of a pound, but still it is under my goal!).
    I cannot express how nice it has been to finaly see it on the scales. Just to let ya'll know I hit a long term platue about 190 and thought I might as well have called it goal cause my weight had just quit moving. And I felt and looked so much better than 260. Of course, I did try to maintain there (a few slipps here and there) and an occasional pound left. And even upped my goal to 175, but lowered it again after I hit it.
    My husband who is diabetic gave Atkins a try about a month ago and I ate induction again (moral support) and it started falling off more quickly. Anyway, he didn't do as well as I hoped and it has to be his decision, but he is not doing it anymore. So my OWL and premaintance are a little off plan but I did do pretty well maintaining at 190ish. So I'll up my carbs again.... And try to stay here and just work on toning some more.
    Seems like my skin shrunk with me until this last 10-15 pounds. Now I have some loose skin issues. Really hoping that it will find a little more elasticity. But gotta look on the bright side.... 95 pounds gone!

    WOW!!! 95 pounds.....GREAT JOB. I always have a saying, now think about this.....A bag of sugar weighs 5 pounds...so that would be 19 BAGS OF SUGAR!!!. Now try to carry 19 bags of sugar for one day!!!. It would wear you out!!!

      How fantastic. Congratulations. I am so happy for you!! You are a great inspiration to everyone who is following in your footsteps. From what I've seen in the loose skin is that if you keep drinking lots of water and exercising, your skin should continue to tighten up a bit more.

                Fantastic! What a wonderful accomplishment.
                June Goals
                1. Continue with water
                2. Use bike more (3x per week would be nice).
                3. Continue with videos.
                4. Go to the YMCA for water classes.
                5. Build stamina for more walking.


                Goals for May:
                1. Water every day - at least 100 oz.
                2. Walk through Wal Mart instead of ride.
                3. Post every day.
                4. Get the exercise bike out of basement and use it!
                5. Re-read DANDR! It's been too long.

                        Thanks everyone. I am thrilled. My husband picked up the jeans I wore yesterday and asked if they were the ones I wore yesterday because he said they were so tiny. Really made my morning. Working seriously though at removing my fat googles because before he said that I was thinking I could stand to loose another 20-25 pounds......Maybe someday I'll be content for longer than a day.
