  • First week complete....

    So tonight is the end of my first week. Tomorrow starts day 8. I am doing great. I went out this afternoon and renewed my gym membership so that i could start working out again. I went there tonight for about an hour and had my first Weigh in since my start date. It was 249 on the dot. my first weigh in on sept. 6 was 258 but from a home electronic scale and this weigh in was from the doctor style ones, so i dont know how accurate the 9 pound weight loss is. This time next week i will know the difference for sure because i can weigh on the same "real" scale. I figure this week i will start to notice my pants getting looser. Just thought i would share.

    Congrats! That is wonderful. Adding the exercise will make a world of diff as well. (be sure to measure yourself in several locations every week - also what has worked for me is getting a few items of clothes I can't fit into and trying them on the same day as weigh in and measuring. Sometimes the scale or measurements don't show a lot - but the clothes show a BIG difference.)

        I'm not. I am basing all of my goals on 3 pounds lost per week. That seems like a good average. i should be around 245 by tuesday. We will see......
