hi,
I just thought I'd enlighten some people concerning some amazing events in the last three weeks of my life.
I decided to join the last Boot Camp, but a last minute trip to China (for work) meant that I had to drop out (no internet, no time etc.) but managed to stick to the diet.
This proved tricky abroad, but I still managed to stay on track in the land of rice and noodles.
Anyways, I am now approaching my third week on Atkins, and have managed to lose a stone and a half.
I kept to my own special training that was never more than 6 hours per week due to time, but the weight just fell off.
I even managed to go out on the town with the lads after rugby without cheating. I drunk scotch and soda and had as much of a laugh as the rest.
I could even have the ritual kebab at the end of the night, just without eating the pitta bread.
Anyways, I turned up at my local pub last night, and I the difference I felt in myself was amazing. I'm fairly outgoing anyway, but I just felt more confident and started chatting to girls I would never have even said hi to a few weeks ago.
0 carbs, a few whiskeys and 2 phone numbers later, and I am still feeling on top of the world.
So many people have commented on my weight loss (particularly as I was away for the time I was dieting) and I can't believe it's only been a few weeks.
I now have to remind myself to eat, as I never feel hungry. It's so strange, as I used to binge all the time.
Well, my whole point in writing is to tell everyone on here THANK YOU for the posts that are here for encouragement. If I ever feel like cheating, I just look at the before / after photos, or read some of the success stories.
This diet works brilliantly, and stick with it. It's great.
Dean
