Hey all,
Just thought I would give you all my story and maybe it can give you guys some encouragement.
As of a few months ago I was up to 88kgs. I never thought about it much, although i knew I had a bit to much fat around my waist. I couldnt tell my face was chubby it all just became normal to me.
In the end what got me back to strict atkins was the fact I could go out and well I was finding it harder and harder to chat up girls.
Anyway I thought I better do something so for the first 2 weeks it was more mental. I would constantly think about losing weight, getting back on atkins and mentally preparing myself. It took a while to get to the first step of starting back on induction.
After the initial mental preparation Period I didnt think too much about I just cut a few carbs here and there. It wasnt strict at all. After about 2 weeks I weighed myself and was down a couple of kgs. That was all the encouragement I needed.
Since then I have been on strict induction.
Breakfast has basically been
Bacon cooked rolled up with cheese inside, or
Tuna, cheese, egg mayo salad
Lunch has been
Chicken strips with chinese broccoli or
omlette, pork mince and chicken and beans
and dinner everynight has been
Fish fillet, 2 baby octopus and about 6 prawns with beans and cheese on top.
I estimate my actual food intake has halved no doubt, I have managed to cut out all red meat from my diet 95% of the time (Going from eating over half a kilo of meat each meal) to lean fish and chicken topped off with cheese ofcourse.
I am never really hungry, Without even knowing I have a bottle of water next to me all the time and I excercise about 2 times a week. Last night I even went for a run around my block, got to the start and went around again.
It seems everyday I am becoming more motivated and slimmer.
It hasnt been easy though. Constant dissapointment with the scales (bad news) but somehow I think well if i just get a good result it will encourage me more. Over the past few weeks it has been up and down but every few days I seem to drop a few hundred grams.
As of this morning I was 80.7kgs which is amazing for me I havent been like this for over 2 years.
It started as omg I am about to break into the 82kgs, then I was shocked hitting 81.9kg and finally have broken 81 now.
Hopefully within a week I will end break 80kgs. I feel better look better and my hips are slimming down. This time i feel like I wont stop until i am absolutely perfectly in shape.
Anyway for those who dont have much to lose ir under 25 pounds and have a constant battle with up and down weight then dont fret just stay determined, I cant wait for the day I wake up and dont have to worry about how I look in a shirt.
