  • One goal met

Well, I have 17 more pounds to go to meet my goal...but I did meet one goal last night. I just put on a pair of size 8 jeans and they fit me!!! Not I had to lay down on bed and zip them fit, but fit like I am wearing them today (and in the picture below) This is amazing to me because before I wore a size 8 jeans when I was 140. It must be all the exercise that I've done since being on Atkins. I can't even believe that 5 short months ago I was wearing a size 18 and my loftiest goal was to fit into a size 14 pair of jeans that had been hiding in the back of my drawer for 3 years.

So, yea, this way of eating really, really works. I remember looking at pictures and hearing stories when I first started and NEVER thinking that would be me...and now it is!

Kathy, that is just wonderful! Size 8----wow, wow, wow---and in such a short time! Your posts are especially neat for me since I started out at the same weight as you, so I watch your progress with great interest and hope that I will be as successful at this as you are. So glad you posted a photo too---that is terrific inspiration, and your note about your goals when you first began! You look great ! Keep up the fantastic work!!!!

Kathy you look really good in your size 8's. I was so shocked when I went from a size 46 to a 40. Several months later, I'm still in a 40, but they are loose, and if I kicked up the exercise, it's 38's ville. I haven't been in a 38 for 10 -15 years! I'm psyched! More situps please!

          Anyway, you look wonderful. Congratulations!
