Well, I actually made it! I started this (2nd time back) journey on August 14th, 2006 weighing in at 356 (HW 394) and had a goal of reaching 100 lbs in weight loss by our 36th anniversary on August 13, 2007. At the beginning of April, I started on OWL at 286 lbs and I seem to be doing so well, that I actually revised that goal to reach the century mark by Independence Day. Going on OWL I thought might be a stretch, but my weight loss continued at a clip of about 2 lbs per week. Today (July 2nd) was my weigh in day and I looked down at the scale and lo and behold I saw that I made my goal!!! 256.0 Lbs was the reading!!! 100 lbs gone!!! May they rest in peace!!! Yippee and Hallelujah!!!
I just want to thank all those here on ADBB for their encouragement and suggestions. Without your help, I could not have done this.
I want to thank so many of you for suggesting that I turn off the Induction Hwy and get onto the OWL Freeway!!! I was a little worried about how slow things might move, but found it to be very smooth sailing and I continued to speed right along!!! In about 46 more pounds I will exit onto Pre-Maintenance Blvd. and will continue on Pre-Maintenance about 10 more. I am anxious to move into my home that is being currently being constructed on Maintenance Ln., but I know that I still have to follow the map in order to get there and I still have some travel time to go! I also know that sometimes the map can get confusing, so every now and again I will stop by and ask for directions!
Somebody asked me this morning about my weight loss. They said, "How do you feel?" I said, "LIGHTER!!!" LOL
