  • A very big achievment!

So I thought I was happy yesterday, fitting into a smaller pair of jeans...

I just got back from the gym where I was weighed and had my body fat measured.

    ***drum roll please***

    Start Weight: 28/06/2007 - 18st13lb (265lb, 120.2kg)
    Current Weight: 10/07/2007 - 17st13lb (251lb, 113.8kg)

    Starting BMI: 28/06/2007 - 34.0
    Current BMI: 10/07/2007 - 32.2

    Starting Body Fat % - 28/06/2007 - 29%
    Current Body Fat % - 10/07/2007 - 25%

WOW! I'm bouncing off the walls tonight! Speaking of walls, I did my first ever lead climb today too! For those of you not into climbing, it's where instead of having the rope already attached at the top, and you climbing up, you tie the rope to your harness and clip it onto the wall as you go - exciting stuff!

Thank you so much to everybody for all their help, support & advice over the last 2 weeks! God, this is starting to sound like an Oscars speech! (I promised myself I wouldn't cry...)

From one Brit to another, please allow me to be the first person to congratulate you. I notice that our starting weights were very similar.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Cheers mate! How long did it take you to get where you are now? Also, I thinking about doing an extended induction, 2 more weeks or until I drop another 9lbs. Do you reckon it's worth it?

i dont think its worth it!!!

you have what the book would consider a low resistance to weightloss, therefore you should move on up to OWL...

you lose just as much weight there so dont think of it like that!! in fact, i lost more

Its taken 3.5 years. But my weight loss has slowed to a complete halt now. I lost the majority of my weight within the first 2 years an have maintained nicely.

Emma answered your other question, so I wont bother.
