I met my mini-goal #1 in just under 8 weeks.
Thanks to this WOE and the encouraging threads and advice on this board that's helping me stay the course, for the first time in over 20 years I weigh less than 200 pounds (199).
Better yet, I have lost 2.5 inches off my beer gut and can now fit into 36 waist pants (from a snug 38.)
I'm fortunate in that I don't have a sweet tooth. My weight problem came from the so-called "complex carbs", pasta, pizza, and liquid bread (beer). I occasionally still miss those foods, especially on weekends, but I find that I don't crave them anymore.
