My wedding ring fell off my finger today. I haven't had my wedding ring off since we got married (except to shower) in five years. My husband is so supportive. He said we can get it resized anytime I want. I told him I wanted to wait until I got to goal or at least close to it (about 90 pounds) Otherwise I'd just have to resize it again.. So he's gonna buy me a nice gold chain so I can wear it around my neck. What a guy!

Re: Uh-Oh
I just had my ring made bigger the week before I started this WOE. Now, 3 months later, my ring is falling off! So making it bigger was a waste of gold!
I do think that they can make it smaller just by squeezing it. I think that making it smaller might be free.

Re: Uh-Oh
No making it smaller is hard too. Essentially they have to remove all the stones and re size the band. Then reset the stones so that the prongs are all tight... Just bending it stresses the fittings and will cause you to drop stones..
My band is about 1/3 inches wide and is peavy diamonds... about 60 of them.. It was going to cost a fortune to size my ring.. They would basically have to rebuild the ring... Instead what we did was thicken the band on the underside. The Jeweler put two bumps of white gold on the inside of the band and smothered them... My ring fits now but the band is thicker..You might consider that..it only costs about $80.00Life Motto: Know the difference between an inconvenience and a problem.
