I just had to share this. I had to go buy some new pants this week, because my old ones that I got just a few months ago were falling off. Just for grins, I pulled a size off of the rack that I just new wouldn't fit, but it was the size I wore just before my son was born. They were three sizes below what I was wearing. I just wanted to see how much further I would have to go to fit into them. Imagine my surprise when they actually fit!!! It has been over 30 years since I was able to fit into that size. I was so excited. Is this a great WOE or what???
In 2003 I weighed in at a whopping 396 lbs and wore a size 60 pair of pants. In August 2006 when I really got serious about doing Atkins and getting this weight off and keeping it off, I weighed in at 356 lbs and wore a size 56 pair of pants. Now several pounds later, weighing in at 227, I am down to a size 38 pair of pants. The last time I can remember wearing that size was 1975, when Gerald Ford was President and Saturday Night Live had it's premier debut. In two more pant sizes I will be down to the same size pants that I wore in high school!!!
