  • Hello Out There

    Hi My name is Thomas and this is my first day on the site as a member. A of now I weigh 313 lbs and I can't stand it. I sure just from browsing the other post that I will fit right in as a new member. My goal is to get down to 240 by next May,2008 and with endurance and help from you guys I'll do it easily.

    Welcome to , Thomas. The people on this site are full of information and tips to help you along. Read the post and browse threw the forums. They are so helpful. Oh yeah, and make sure you get the latest edition (2002) of the Dr. Atkins Diet Revolution. It is our "Bible" here.

            Today was my first official day on Atkins and I did a wonderful job on it. I resisted temptation of cake ( new years party) and ate a turkey burger.

            I think I on the right road and ready to start loosin this weight

              Welcome to the board. Just remember, read the book, exercise and drink your water.

              You will do great.

              What I know:
              1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
              2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
              3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
              4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

                Today is Day 7 for me and I couldn't feel better. I think this is the right diet for my lifestyle. I can eat like a pig ....LOL...And still loose weight....... Wonderful. I eat my salads and I drink my water religiously. I'm lovin it.

                      Today is day 12 for me and I am feel so excited. Not just about reaching my 14-day induction but also the fact that I've been excercising everyday. And it makes my body feel wonderful. I still drank my water everyday at least 64 oz. And I make sure that I don't eat sweets and stuff that has crazy carbs in it. I can notice now that my body is startin to take on a new shape and that I don't crave these sweetings anymore. I am Happy & I know that if I can succeed on this diet anyone on this plant can to.

                            WOOOOOHOOO. Today marks the day of my 14 day ...two week induction phase. I am so happy and proud of myself. I did it. With your help and my determination I passed it with flyin colors.But the road has just begun.
