I have been so encouraged by this board I decided to make the atkins diet a way of life for me. I began Atkins in March 2008 and lost some weight, but when summer came I fell off. I felt horrible. So I got back on track September 13, and I decided to get on the scale 17 days later and I lost 20 pounds. I am so happy. I need to start working out now, so I can get in shape. I realize that as soon as I cut out breads and bad carbs I lose at a good pace.

Well done! Congratulations on making the commitment to get back to eating right and improving your health, you've done great! 20 lbs. is a great accomplishment, you should be proud of yourself!
Definitely adding exercise to your daily schedule is VERY important. I got away from doing exercises for about a month prior to beginning Atkins and I totally noticed a difference when I wasn't. Now, I do some sort of exercise each day and I feel and most definitely see a difference because of it.
Eating properly, exercising and drinking lots of water is very important indeed!
