  • After a month, 10 pounds down, 36 to go

This has been the easiest diet I've ever done! I love meat and fat (I'll slice off a hunk of raw butter to eat in a heartbeat), so I never expected a major problem conforming to the guidelines. But as I look back over my intake (tracked in detail in Fitday), I still am surprised I can lose weight on 2700 calories daily.

I'm currently holding for the third week on the first rung of OWL -- holding because I was on a bit of a plateau and I wanted to sit tight until measurable loss resumed. I'll probably move on to rung 2 next week. I want to make sure I'm on rung 5 by the third weekend in November. I'm attending a conference then with a rather significant social component, if you know what I mean.

        Hi Jim,

        Congratulations on losing 10lbs...that's awesome!

I couldn't agree with you more! This is such an easy and satisfying way of eating...it's amazing. I find for myself I am never craving anything either and feel completely satisfied.

You're doing great, keep it up...well done!
