So this sunday will be the last day of week 8 and I am up to 36lbs lost to date! I started at 320 and I am now down to 286. I still have a loooong way to go to my goal of 200lbs but I know with strength and persistence I will pull through. I can honestly say I haven't cheated in the past 8 weeks, except for maybe the occasional *light* beer or two on saturday nites with the guys from work, but other than that I have became alergic to carbs! Lol, seriously though...I don't even crave bread or pasta or any of that stuff anymore because I am thrilled to death when I get up day after day just watching myself change. I think the absolute best part about this whole experience so far are the people that haven't seen me since I've started the diet, just them asking the simple question of "Have you lost weight?"...right away I respond with a "H*ll yes I have! Thank you for noticing!" lol. Oh and get this....I can do pushups now!!! I know, I know...your saying "OK big deal"...well i couldn't do them at all when I started! So anyway, dont really know how many of you are going to take the time to read this, but hey...thats what these forums are all about!!!
