  • Small steps are the key!

I've been following this WOE for about 3 weeks now, staying in extended induction because of the amount of weight I must lose. (And how great I feel!) I just wanted to give an update because I'm really happy with my results so far.

*I can fit in a pair of jeans I haven't worn in 2 years. They are a size 28, however, I was (barely able to fit) in a size 32...

*I haven't actually lost any weight besides my initial 6 pounds, however my pants/jeans fit better around my midsection and hips. My arms are another story, but I'm working on those.

*My stamina has improved since I started going to the gym. I just started using the eliptical, a machine that I couldn't even do for 30 seconds without losing my breath/heaving and now, 3 weeks later, I'm doing 5 minutes straight through. This might not seem like a lot to some, but for how out of shape I am, it was a huge achievement. I do a total of 10 min a night. I have to break due to muscle fatigue in my right calf. I'm sure that will pass, though. During my break, I lift weights in hopes of getting rid of my arm flab.

*My quality of sleep has improved as well as my attitude. I used to be very glum and blah.

*My blood sugare has stabilized. I used to have readings 250+ and now I have readings between 150 in the AM to 97 at night.

I need to print this out and give this to all the nay sayers. There's a few of them in my life.
