  • 37 lbs in 46 days!!

    Hello all,
    Through the boredom and high protein breakfasts (ugh!) I have went from 301 on March 14th to 264.5 on the scales today April 23rd. 37 lbs. in 46 days!!!..Makes me want to shout! I am sooooo tired of being overweight. I lost about 20 lbs 3 yrs ago for my 30th hs reunion. Vanity!!! No wonder it didn't stick. With God's help I'm in this for however long God gives me to live! Lost 20 lbs first 2 weeks! Last couple weeks I've lost an avg. of 4 lbs a week since then. My 2 yr. old grandson weighs 32 so I'm saying I've lost a Destin + 5 lbs. lol. The 3rd week I started to the gym. I stayed on strict induction for the first month...added some nuts and strawberries (and cream) but still staying tight with the carbs. LOTS of water! Lots of meat and EGGS ...cluck cluck! lol But it can be done! God bless you all and praying success for us all!!!

                      Thanks for the encouragement.
                      I see where you were cheat free for 53 days! Awesome. Last Saturday night I went to my favorite restaurant and ate chicken casserole w/ wild rice and bernaise sauce w/ not one but 2 pieces of garlic bread... mmmmm. I HAD to have some REAL food after a month of steak and eggs heheh. I've had nothing but water since starting though and even though I had this meal I stayed in ketosis! I find I can eat a few more nuts and a couple of berries (not at same time and it does not affect ketosis. I haven't stalled but I might go a day or 2 some times and not show a loss then on the 3rd or 4th day show 2 or more lbs lost. I DO believe I need to weigh EACH day. I see where some folks advocate not doing this but for me it's the ONE way to see those incremental gains or losses that help keep us on course.
                      I see that you live in China. Cool. Are you a missionary??? I'm a pastor, so just curious. Well, I pray you have a blessed day and success for us both.
