Hi everyone:
After realizing that I was doing the induction phase all wrong for 2 weeks, I decided to share so far what my accomplished goals have been in six days. I started the induction phase properly on May 25:
Monday May 25:
Body weight: 245 lb
Body fat %: 20.12%
L.B.M.: 195.70 (LBM = lean body mass)
Thursday May 28:
Body weight: 236 lb
Body fat %: 18.47%
L.B.M.: 192.40 lb
Saturday May 30:
Body weight: 235 lb
Body fat %: 17.80%
L.B.M.: 193.99 lb
I use the Jackson / Pollack method for caliper measurements.
In summary:
I lost nine pounds the first three days but notice also that my lean body mass dropped by 3.3 lb. I believe that has to do with some water weight loss as well as intra muscular glycogen depletion.
Two mornings after, I dropped another pound but my L.B.M. increased by ~1.6 lb. Keeping very close to the macronutrient split, 65-30-5 has pushed my metabolism into the anabolic stage. I'm gaining muscle while losing fat. Unbelievable.
Cheers
