    Hi All,

    I love reading about success stories on the boards so I thought I'd post my own.

    I've just finished a VERY clean induction and have lost 13 pounds and lord knows how many inches (haven't measured yet)!!! Whoohoo! I feel absolutely amazing and truly love this WOE.

    For those starting out, it works! Trust the plan and everything else falls into place. The headaches, cravings & weakness WILL subside. Support from the boards has pushed me to stay on plan.

    Not feeling quite confident enough to post pics yet, maybe I will once I hit the first mini-goal.

    hi, im new to atkins and i was wondering can you share your meal plan with me or i can list mine and you can edit or tell me what im doing wrong. so far i lost 3lbs hopefully the scale is not lying, it been a week. today starts my second week in the induction phase. i have not cheated. and i walk on my treadmill for excercise.
    menu
    bacon 3strips
    scabble eggs with american cheese 1slice
    1/3 of avacodo
    water 2 1/2 cups
    lunch
    1/3 of avacodo
    salad
    dressing
    water
    dinner
    3 chicken legs baked or steamed with skin on
    brocolli. or calliflower 2cups
    water 2 1/2 cups
    snack
    pork rinds
    10 baby tomatoes very small ones
    water 2 1/2 cups
    before i go to bed i have about about 2more bottles of water. to make sure im gettign at least 100 oz of water. now can you tell me if you see something that is significant enough that would hinder my weight lost.

      Fantastic job so far! WOW!
      I am just starting this diet also, and reading this entry
      made me more excited then ever to start! You give me hope!
      Do you have an exercise routine you do daily?? How did you lose
      the weight so quickly!? Thanks for posting!

            Sexymocha, It's hard for me to say because you haven't posted measurements of your intake - i.e. salad dressing, what's in it? how much? veggies etc etc

            A typical day for me is:

            Breakfast
            5 strips of bacon
            2 eggs
            1 tbsp butter

            Snack:
            1 deviled egg w/ mayo & dijon

            Lunch:
            1 cup mixed baby greens
            1 cup combined green pepper, radishe, mushrooms
            1 oz feta, cheddar, parm, or goat cheese
            2 tbsp homemade creamy greek, caesar, or ranch
            5 oz chicken breast or tuna

            Dinner:
            5-6 oz chicken breast/steak/salmon
            all with at least 1 tbsp olive oil/butter or 1-2 tbsp cream/cheese

            veg (1 of the options below):
            1 cup cauliflower gratin (cream/cheese)
            1 cup roasted asparagus w/ olive oil
            1 cup spaghetti squash w/ homemade alfredo

            Every other day: I have an egg nog shake after I work out w/ 2 tbsp of flax meal to keep things 'moving' if you know what I mean :P

            Desserts: The cravings are pretty much non-existent, but when I feel like indulging, I'll have a root beer float (1 tbsp whipped heavy cream, 1 cup diet root beer) or 1 serving or Dom's cheesecake. But, I have literally had only 1 of each in 2 weeks.

            Water: Never less than 100 oz cold water a day. Mostly between 120-160.

            Workout: About every other day, I go on the elliptical for 30 mins, followed by 30 mins walking on the treadmill. Also do about 30 mins of full-body strength training.

            That's it! LOL These boards are great for challenges and support, motivation and keeping you strong!

              Missed one (big one!) SUPPLEMENTS!!!

              I followed atkins once before and was doing great but fell off because I felt horrendous - extremely weak, fainting, cravings, migraines even after the 14 days.

              One difference - I wasn't taking supplements. Since I have, I feel wonderful, I only went through mild induction flu.

              Taken 2x day - After breakfast & Dinner:
              - 1 Potent Multivitamin - no iron
              - 2 EFAs - Borage oil w/ Flax & Primrose
              - 1 B complex
              - 1 Potassium

              Before Bed:
              - 1 Calcium + Magnesium + D
