    yeah you read it right! i lost 5.5 pounds in 5 days ! i am new to the board and also to the diet & i love it so far! i have no cravings once so ever! i am at 204.5 now and my goal weight is 150, i know i can do it ! im not seeing any difference in my clothes yet but the weight loss itself is such an inspiration! I AM iN LOVE WiTH THE ATKiNS DiET ALREADY!

        Good luck going forward -- the best thing to do is stay off the scale until the end of induction then only weigh once a week or every other week on the same day. Once you are finished with the first 2 weeks your weight loss will slow down so make sure you've taken your measurements so you'll know you are loosing inches as well as pounds.

          Great job! I am in the beginning too, with the same stats and goals as you roughly. And you just feel so much better after those first few days too, don't you?
          Used to be 120 and under... Then evened out to 140... Now headed back down from 195

            Thanks everyone for your support! And yes Stakk, i feel a lot better and a lot healthier! Just to let everyone know, I am posting a journal that I keep every 5 days filled with my weight loss daily, different low carb foods I tried together that tasted great, and motivation So please for it in my threads!

              I love this post! I can feel the enthusiasm jumping right off my computer screen and it just makes me smile! Bottle that and hide it away in a safe place where you can pull it out and draw from it whenever you need it.
