Just had my physical this week. total chol. down 25 pts from last year 170 hdl(good chol. 59...higher than I've ever had it), trig. 51 (really good). Dr asked what I was doing, said atkins, she said keep it up its working. I'm not on any chol. meds. I've pretty much maintained my weight for a year now. I would like to be 12 lbs lighter but am at a healthy weight for my height. I've been dow as low as 142, but 147 seems to be where I'm hovering. So many people say how unhealthy it is to eat full fat food, cream, eggs, red meat, but my cardiac risk factors are better on this diet than ever on a low fat diet.
