  • 30 lbs milestone - smooth sailing

I've been doing Atkins for a bit less than three months now and as of today I'm down 30lbs. It feels great!

My loss has slowed significantly since I started OWL - I was losing about 3-4 lbs a week during extended induction but that is now cut in half. I lost 6 lbs in the last four weeks and can now comfortably fit in my 36s. My 38s are literally falling off and I've completely outshrunk (?) two of my belts.

Believe it or not, my wife gripes at me because I no longer fit into several new clothes outfits that I just bought this summer Thankfully she says positive things, too. But what the is that all about?? This is what I call a high-quality problem!!

The thing that is most amazing about this is how easy it has been. I wish I had known it was going to be this easy - I'd have done it years ago....

congrats on the weight loss! clothes can always be replaced, you can't put a dollar amount on health though! My clothes are much looser now, and although I don't have the money to keep buying clothes as I'm shrinking, I'll proudly wear baggy clothes!!

Congratulations! That is great. And those clothes can always be tailored to fit up to a certain point so you don't have to let them go to waste!

Congratulations Jarrod, just wait until even your tighest clothes no longer fit and you have to buy a whole new wardrobe, hopefully by then she will be tired of griping about it
