I'm new to the board but I just wanted to shared my joy and success with you!
I started Atkins on 01/20/2010 and have lost 20 lbs! But it's not only the weight:
- my skin is moistier (it used to be itchy and very dry after showering, but that's gone),
- my migrane which hit me at least every two weeks has disappeared!!
- my waistline is returning and I have gone from pant size 16 to 12!
It's really working!
At first I was really afraid of the fat - being on a low cal/ low fat diet nearly all my life. I have no gall bladder anymore (since 2001) and I wondered what all the fat would do to my system.
I found out the only thing I have to be sensible about is to avoid to eat all the fat for one meal rather than eating it in small portions over the day.
I love my journey to my new self!
