  • Have you lost 50lbs or more?

    It's really difficult for me to ask for help, but I need your help. I need to lose between 70 - 80lbs.

    I have been watching/listening to anthony robbins and he has help me plan for success - I've got nearly everything in place, a great diet - a good exercise plan, new beliefs. But I don't have any peers. One of the ways to succeed he says is to have friends that have already succeeded - those that will keep me in check, on track and who will not take any excuses (because they've heard them all and made them all).

    The problem is I don't have any friends, let alone any friends who have successfully lost weight. Its sad I know. My only friend is my husband who is slim, muscular - and yet doesn't exercise because he thinks its a waste of time. He also thinks dieting is a waste of time too. So I started thinking about where I could get some friends (this sounds so utterly sad!) and I ended up here.

    So if there is anyone out there who has lost 50lbs or more and is on lifetime maintenance and is willing to message me each week or occasionally for updates and a kick up the butt when needed I will be soooo grateful. Obviously I have nothing to return other than honesty and friendship and of course a lifetime of gratitude when I succeed (forever optimistic!).

    The best thing for me would be a public visitor messages on my profile so I can be held publicly accountable for my action (or inaction).

    I am going to go now. I can't believe I have told everyone that I have no friends, this is pretty embarrassing I have to say.

    I would recommend you start a journal on this site like that you will have lots of friend visiting and keeping a watch on you and you can confess everything and tell us your daily activities and food intake.I have a journal too it helps alot.Trust me thats the answer!

      Oh by the way Im onto my 100lb loss mark once again. At one time a few months ago I lost 110lbs

        Well, so far I'm at 45lbs lost. I have about 90 to go. I'm there with you.

        I agree with Sham. Create a Journal and keep it updated. BEst way for constant encouragment and tips, ect.

          Congrats Sham.. that is so awesome!!.. All I can say is that sometimes we have to find motivation within.. no matter where you find it.. I want to wish you the best of luck and know that we are all here with you, trying to achieve that same goal...

              I'm not very good at journals - I usually avoid saying anything if things are going badly and let the journal slide, until I'm back on track which is really silly. But I guess I could try... what do you think?

                I've just had a really cool email from Bowulf on youtube so I'm totally up for the journal thing and I'm going to put up my DailyPlate info too so people can see what I get up to.
