I have done alot of thinking lately about all the things that keep me motivated and would like to share them with the board. I would love to hear everyone elses as well!
1) Hiatal Hernia diagnosed in 1996 and have eaten TUMS for the past 7 years. I kept Tums in my desk, in my bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, vehicle and purse. I haven't had a Tums since I started Atkins in September.
2) I go to sleep when I lay down at night. No more insomnia.
3) I wake up in the morning pain free (I used to wake up with a headache and stiff neck and shoulder muscles.)
4) The women will understand this...no more yeast infections. THANK THE GOOD LORD!
5) Compliments! My stepdaughter saw me this weekend for the first time in 3 weeks and the words that came out of her mouth were "OH my gosh, Joy!"
6) Baggy clothes!
7) I sat in a chair at work last week and actually saw chair on each side of my hips (I normally stick out past the chair).
Being able to walk 3 miles in 42 minutes...and it keeps getting easier.
9) Going to the doctor and weighing less than I have the entire time I've been going there!
10) Feeling proud of myself.
