I asked a few days ago if unsweetened soy milk was ok and was politely reminded that you cannot eat anything that isn't on the acceptable induction food list. None of those foods are on the list, so you aren't supposed to. Here is the acceptable food list: http://atkins.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html

If you eat any of those special low carb foods, it is possible it could stall your weight loss. For me, this is definately the truth. I cannot seem to get away with one nibble or bite of any special low-carb food without gaining weight or stalling. Try to stay away from those.

When we start this new WOL (way of life), we are sometimes perplexed by a diet plan that excludes grain foods for so long. Oftentimes we just can't imagine a meal without them (I was that way), however, now I know I can't imagine eating any starches with my meal!

Basically, you need to try to think of creative ways to eat the foods on the Acceptable foods list. If you need ideas, try the recipe section. Look into buying a low carb cookbook or look on the web.

Don't sabotage your success by introducing low carb "Frankenfoods" into your menu during Induction.
