  • Moderator gone this Memorial Day weekend

    My home computer is having some issues. So, I won't be able to access the net during the weekend (unless I come to the office, which probably won't happen)

    So, to everyone here. Be strong this weekend!

    You will be tempted with food.
    You will have well meaning friends and relatives offer you everything you like to eat.
    You will have someone roll their eyes when they hear you are on a diet (afterall, why should you lose weight and be healthy?)
    You will have someone tell you that you're going to die doing Atkins.

    BE STRONG! You can do it!

    BE PREPARED by having appropriate foods with you. If you are invited to a barbecue, bring something along that you can eat: an Atkins friendly coleslaw, salad, faux potato salad. If you have to bring along Atkins friendly condiments, like salad dressing, do it!

    Remember YOU are in control of everything you put into your mouth. Put your health ahead of your stomach.

    (And don't forget to exercise and drink your water)
