    Taste in my Mouth!!

    What is this taste in my mouth or what ever it is? I seem to lick my lips alot lately and just feels weird! lol

    I drink about 2.5 liters of water a day so is that enough? I know it is 64fl ounces and 8 for every 25lbs ya want to lose.

      That's the metallic taste that comes from being in ketosis. It's a good thing! Way to go!

          That's the metallic taste that comes from being in ketosis. It's a good thing! Way to go!
          Why couldn't it taste like a nice piece of German chocolate cake! lol

              I know what you mean...I have had the same taste in my mouth for almost 2 weeks now, and along with it comes nasty breath! I guess it's a good thing?! Although my husband doesn't seem to think so...he plugs his nose when he kisses me now.... :tounge ....ha ha ha

                  Heres a tip I learned for ketosis breath.


                  Buy a small "traveller" size bottle of mouth wash, and also a regular size for the bathroom. Use the mouthwash when you go places and just fill it up everytime you run out. Its an alternative to chewing gum, since we can't anymore because of the sugar reasons.

                      LOL, My husband thinks it smells like cocunut suntan oil. urplequ: ensive He's always asking me if I was laying out in the sun, we figured it must be my breath he's smelling. I just brush my teeth a lot to keep it at bay now.

                                  OMG I am on induction to and ive SOOO been wondering what in the heck that was, I thought I was just getting bad breath all the sudden or something LOL.. but I have the same taste.
