  • Day 14...

    Hi everyone

So today is day 14 and I lost 10 LBS :joy

I still need to shed off some more pounds, so I am going to extend induction for another 2 weeks! (Here we go again)

This has honestly been one of the toughest challenges of my life, it's not easy, but it is sooooooo worth it!!! I am so glad Dr. Atkins shared his secret with the rest of us to help us live healthier!

I hope the rest of you are reaching your goals....Don't give up, even if you stall...IT'S NORMAL...you won't regret it

Congratulations on your loss Sirine :clapping

Am I reading your ticker correctly - you have about 15 pounds left to lose?
If so you might be better off moving to OWL (ongoing weight loss) which is the main weightloss phase of Atkins so you can start to add carbs in the order given by Dr Atkins and see how the various foods affect your body as well as discover your CCLL.
Dr Atkins told us to lose the last 5-10 pounds in the third phase of Atkins - premaintenance - to give us the best chance of being able to maintain our weight once we have reached goal. :hug
People who follow the four Atkins phases tend to be more likely to stay at their goal weight than those who lose all their weight in induction. :yes
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

      Thank you Elizellen!

What you said makes sooo much sense! Well my mini goal is 120, my main goal is 115-110... it should be ok to stick to the induction still-no???

Trust me I can't wait to be able to add more foods into :yummy ..lol

By the way you look sooo AMAZING!!!

Congratulations! That's awesome! You can do an extended induction, but like Elizellen said, make sure you move through all of the phases. OWL (in my opinion) is probably the most important because you find out your CCL and really learn how certain foods effect your body.

Yes if you really want to :hug
But read the sticky called 'Should I stay or should I go' each week to help you decide.
