Why do I feel like I'm cheating?

Im so full and satisfied, I feel like forsure I have to have cheated and not realized it. I've ate my meat, 3 cups of veggies, had all my water already, only ate what are legal foods in ha and only had 3 meals yet I feel as if I cheated :anger Is this normal after you restart?
I forgot how wonderful the foods you're allowed to eat on this WOL is!!

Its simple, you are going against the grain thats been instilled into everyone for years!

I've been feeling the same way. This is my second time around and I too forget. For example, last night I had butter on my pork chops! Even though I live alone I kept thinking someone was going to bust down the door and yell at me for eating so "badly". I think we need some time to re-program what we think is healthy or a "cheat".

OMG that's exactly how I feel!
this minute I've just finished my supper and feel really bad cos it was a great meal and I feel sooo satisfied
having a cup of decaf coffee now, and wondering if I cheated as well. I think you're right, we need to rethink our diet strategies!

That's how I felt in the beginning. (Wow...over a year now!) I thought to myself that there was nooooooo way I was going to lose weight with the way I was eating. Especially looking down at a big ol steak, broccoli w/cheese and a salad covered in *gasp* regular ranch dressing! I would even tell people "I may not lose any weight but I feel better so I'm sticking with this!" Then the pounds just started melting away and I was just shocked. Don't feel like you're cheating...eat, rejoice and every now and then raise your water glass and toast the brillant Dr.Atkins!!! I also still get a kick telling people what I eat as "diet" food. lol.

Wow thanks everyone. I feel better knowing I'm not alone feeling this way, and seeing that Rhonda has lost so much and felt this way when she started. lol I just got back from my walk and had more water. I can't believe how refreshed and good I already feel, and this is just the first week... I had been watching calroies and eatting little fat straved all day and night long, to go back to ATkins and feel FULL!! Wow!! I get it totally now, Atkins is a WoL, not a quick fix to lose weight then go back eatting way I use too!!!
