:hug to everyone on this board. I'm moving onto Extended Induction today having put in my first 15 days.
Result? Well I got on the scales this morning and found that since Thursday I've lost 5 more pounds. That added to the five in the previous week makes a whole 10 pounds. I went into a state of heightened exctasy in the bathroom this morning - I can't believe how good I feel.
It's not just losing the weight. Before I started this WOE I was a mess. I hadn't realised how badly things had got out of control. I was beggining to look at aged pensioners and think "that's me". I use to dread going upstairs. My total exercise for the week was putting away the shopping order, then eating it. What had happened to the woman whom, 5 years, previously, thought nothing of a five mile walk every day?
I was sluggish, sleepy, totally whacked out by 3pm. I remember having to walk a mile into town and do some shopping, probably two hours worth in total. I came back home and went to bed to SLEEP for two hours.
Within 3 days of starting this WOE I felt better - just THREE DAYS. I'm now looking for stuff to do around the house, home repairs, walking out to the shops every day, volunteering to go walking. Unheard of before.
To those of you who are maybe thinking it's not worth it or just generally struggling.... it's not easy. Nothing worthwile is. But don't stop. DON'T STOP. If I can do it, ANYONE can. Think of the rush you'll get when you see that weight finally dropping.
good luck and love to you all. This is the first Bulletin Board I've ever posted on, other's I've tried, have been too cliquey and I've always felt like an outsider and dropped it after a while. I can't praise these folks highly enough and that means you too.
I'll see some of you in Extended the rest of you I'll catch up with in time. But whatever stage you're in the BEST of luck. You know you're worth it. :yes
