  • Am I doing this right?

    Just started the induction this morning. Did my weight, walked with my kids, then ate a breakfast.

    This is the numbers that I got on Fitday.com:

    Totals 311 / 22 / 8 / 20

    is this right?? or should I make it public to be viewed and reviewed??

        Everything looks ok so far, if that is just breakfast, but what was the salad dressing for ?lol

          Normally I would put ketchup on my eggs, so thought I would go for a different taste and put salad dressing on it this time. That's why it's there.

              I used Cucumber Ranch that day, and for me it just gives a different kick to the eggs.

              But now I have another question. Is it ok for me to just eat until I'm satisfied right now, and not even count carbs?? I keep throwing myself into a panic when I enter things into Fitday and watching those numbers climb, it's something that I would rather not know.

              Right now I havn't entered anything in it for the last 2 days, but starting to feel better about myself and even feel that some of the weight is coming off.

                If you are following the Rules of Induction as laid out in DANDR, and eating the proper amounts from the Acceptable Foods list, you should be almost right on the mark when it comes to your percentages, and your carbs.

                (When I discovered Fitday, I went into my food journal I was keeping, and entered in two weeks of foods. I was pleased to see that it all lined up pretty close to what it needed to be. Dr. Atkins designed it to do that if you are do everything correctly)

                Don't be scared about the numbers....think of it as though you are just making sure are where you need to be. It's better to make sure you are doing the right thing than to find out later you were way off base, right?

                for the first while, I'd encourage you to put your figures in until you feel confident you are on the right track. Then after that, put a day in here and there to make sure you are still on track.
