  • Lost & gained!

My wife 170, and I 145 lbs, started induction May 31 st, 2005.
1st week, me down to 140, wife down to 165 great start.
Now we noticed we both put back on about 5 lbs!??
Did not add anything we weren't supposed to.
Ate maybe a few extra carbs in veggies.
Driniking lots of water, 64 oz at least a day, walk 3 miles every few days.
Secondly a question, is it ok to eat eggs every day??
    Thanks for your suggestions....Pete[/quote][/b]

Pete, I eat eggs every single day, and sometimes up to 4-5 a day. but everyone's different - I read one ADBBer stalled on more than 1-2 eggs a day

One piece of advice though - don't weigh yourself till the 14th day!!!
Weight tends to fluctuate during Induction and you don't want to get yourself discouraged during this time. People do put on and they also get a big wooshie (weightloss) when they least expect it, so you NEED to stay away from the scales and concentrate on getting Induction right and working for you.

    Cheers

Here is an interesting post about how weighloss is not 'linear' which has reassured many with the same worries you and your wife have.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Great!!! Thank you all for the encouragement and the info on this subject!!
We found that the heavy cream we used for cheesecake, and the homemade whipped cream may have been a problem, as well as not realizing that each packet (tsp I think) of Splenda has 1 carb gm.
        thanx agn!! pete & crystal

Question The heavy whipping cream we are using says 0 carbs and 0 sugar per tablespoon. The 14 day guide says only consume 2 to 3 tablespoons per day of heavy cream???
        thanx agn!! Pete & Crystal
