I was on Atkins last year and did great, lost 30 lbs. Well, i'm back to lose another 30, however, I don't remember being able to have the atkins bake mix on the induction last year. Is the bake mix really ok, and if you are using it, are you still seeing a good weight loss? I just don't want to have it if it doesn't give me as good results as i got last year during induction...

    Thanks,
    Bende

Hi and welcome! Here at ha we give advince based on the 2002 editon of DANDR. So no, it would not be appropriate for induction. Basically we advise to read the list of ingredients. If there's something in the ingredients that's not on the acceptable food list for induction we advise not to eat it. Ultimately the decision is yours, but we'd like you to be as successful as possible the way Dr. Atkins wrote!

      Thank you

That is what I was thinking...I figured I did well last time with just taking stuff off the food list, why ruin a good thing! I will avoid the bake mix then until phase 2..........thanks so much!

Atkins company puts it on their Induction list, along with Atkins bars and other stuff they're trying to sell.

If you can avoid them, any way possible, it is the better path to healthier eating - after all, Atkins bake mix or Atkins bars or Atkins tomato sauce are still somewhat artificial, and that's what Dr A is trying to get us away from.
