  • Something positive...

Hello again....just let me know when you are sick of hearing from me and I will stop.

Today I took the advice of a few folk. I ate more veggies. I still walked, faster even. I drank my water also. But I ate a whole avacado chopped in a few choice salad greens and some ham with oil and vinegar dressing (Oil and vinegar from Italy is so tasty). I had an egg/bacon muffin for breakfast, the salad for lunch, some chicken wings about 5pm and then another salad for dinner. I don't feel hungry today and I don't crave sweets.

Now, if you see anythign wrong with my menu for the day, please let me know.

I feel better. Not sure if that will translate into weightloss, in which case I will feel worse....but for now that is something postitive to dwell on.

I have never eat avocado before today. Not a guacomole eater...it actually was quite filling as an addition to my salad. Thanks for the suggestion.

yumm i eat egg and bacon muffins too! you just wrap raw bacon around a muffin tin, then crack the egg in it and put it in the oven..sometimes i put ground cooked sausage at the bottom too and cheese on top!

i believe an entire avocado has 12 carbs in it--not counting deducting the fiber content

Half a small avocado per day for induction. It's under special category foods.

              Confused again...

I can't find my book. I am ordering another, but I want the 2002 copy everyone keeps speaking of.

I went to Fit Day and put in a green, small Avocado. It said 22carbs! :yikes That can't be right. My ketosis strip is still VERY dark. I didn't even look first because someone suggested it. It was delicious too. I just figured it was a part of the cup of raw veggies I could have. I didn't use much lettuce and my salad had no cheese and only oil and vinegar dressing.

If someone knows the ISDN number for the book, please forward it to me. Iwill order it from Amazon. It will take a few weeks to receive it, but at least I will have my own "bible" to read.

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

                  Simone,

Try ebay for the book first, you can get it really cheap that way.
