If you're in ketosis? Aside from those strips are there any signs I should be looking for? Today is a tough day for me today I just can't get my energy up and it's day 11 for me, I'm really worried about no weight or inch loss. I broke down and had one spoonful of cherry pie which was awful but nearly made me eat the whole pan just with that one taste, that was my first taste of sugar in 11 days, I had no idea sugar could control me that way but I'm not kidding when I say I wanted the whole pie I had to walk away very fast!!! That was my first cheat and now I'm annoyed with myself.

Just a thought
Many people experiece many symptoms of ketosis. A few are
Bad breath
a feeling of being full
headaches
loose bowels/constipation
induction 'flu'
lethargy
nervousness
These symptoms usually ease as you go further into induction. Try posting your menu for help. You may be on lower carbs than usual but not truly low carbs.
Also are you drinking your water? 64 oz plus 8oz for every 25 lbs overweight.

Ok, so I went to get those little strips and just did my first one, it says Large?? I read the intructions and that apparently means I am in ketosis? The directions are really hard to understand. I suspect I may be suffering from the Induction flu as that is exactly what I feel like, I feel like I'm coming down with the flue but it doesn't say that anywhere in the book!! Thank god!! I though there was something wrong with me!!

ketosis is sort of like being preg you are or you aren't any color change on your strip is good. now seal your bottle up and as long as you don't cheat and follow the chapter 11 rules of induction you will be in ketosis from now on.
there is a whole list of physical symptoms of ketosis like loss of appetite in the FAQ section of the board.
