  • IT SAYS SUGAR, BUT ALSO NO CARBS???

i AM FINDING THAT FEW THINGS THAT i HAVE BOUGHT FROM THE STORE HAVE SAID 0 CARBS, BUT THEN WHEN I GET HOME AND LOOK CLOSER IT SAYS THERE IS SUGAR IN THE INGREDIANTS. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, CAN I STILL EAT THESE THINGS. SUCH AS PORK RINDS AND TURKEY SANDWHICH MEAT?

When they label foods in the USA they often give the nutrition for one serving, and if it amounts to less than 0.5 carbs they are allowed to say '0 carbs'.
We are lucky here in the UK as they have to say how many carbs per 100 grams or millilitres (about 3.5 ounces), so it tends to be more accurate.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I would think (hope) that there is very little sugar in those items. It's up to you whether you choose to eat them. If you choose to eat the cold cuts for example, I would suggest counting the carbs. I would count 1 carb per serving to be on the safe side.

We really shouldnt be eating the flavored pork rinds ... they have sugar. But the regular ones are fine. Some people find that they are high in salt and tend to retain water.

I use mine mostly for breading. Sometimes when i really feel the need to crunch I'll grab a few.
