The shakes should not be used during induction. I know it can be rough, but avoid all prepackaged foods and stick to fresh stuff! You won't regret it!
    Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05

    Measuring every 2 weeks

Looking at Atkins site they give the nutrition for one serving of Chocolate shake mix as
      Total Fat 4 g
      Saturated Fat .5 g
      Cholesterol 5 mg
      Sodium 80 mg
      Potassium 440 g
      Total Carbohydrate 10 g inc
      Dietary Fiber 5 g
      Sugars 2
      Protein 15 g
To me even if you deduct the 2 g of sugar alcohols (I would count them btw) you would be using 3 of your up to 20 grams with one serving - seems a bit 'spendy' to me.
Also they contain a fair amount of protein and little fat so would throw out your ratios if you were not careful. You would have to add fat to balance this.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
