  • What I'll do different now

Hi again Eizellen, Iap and Effie- Its great to see you all! :wave

    What I'll do different now:

1: A CLEAN induction... by the book.

2: Subscribe to the one bite is the kiss of failure belief.

3: Eat vegatables to make up my carb allowance instead of sauces. And add more variety of veggies than just iceberg lettuce.

4: Move onto OWL sooner. Instead of trying to lose all the weight with the induction rules.

Its going to take a lot of willpower. But truthfully I feel terrible when I'm eating any carbs I want and I feel so much better when I'm on Atkins. If I can just hold onto that I'll make it!!

Thank you so much for your support. I was a little embarassed to come back but I decided it may take me a hundred times restarting but I am not giving up! My past failures should only bring me closer to my goal!

Don't be embarassed to come back! Many of us have restarted, or tried to, lots of times. And you do learn alot from your mistakes. I sure did anyway. It looks like you really know what your past downfalls were and you know how to avoid them.

Iceberg is like the worst of the lettuces. Spinach is one of the best ensive

Hi, Mojo. I too have been away for a couple of months and ammmm baaack after gaining back up to 168lbs.

Your list got me to thinking about my list as to what I need to do to avoid my pitfalls and not experience them again.

These are just a few things that I have been thinking about:

                  1) Even if I don't FEEL like it, I must exercise at least 5x a week for at least 30 minutes each time.

                  2) I can't take one bite of a forbidden food. It just makes it too easy for me to take another one or 10 the next day, the next day....

                  3) I must realize that I will never be "finished" with this WOE, this is a life long discipline.

                  4) I need to learn to cook. I get bored with my limited menus. If it can't be broiled or microwaved, I can't make it. My goal is to try at least one new recipe a week from the recipe board.

                  5) Finally, I need to talk to myself constantly and tell myself I AM worth it.

Thank you for your post, Mojo. Your list helped me think.
