  • I CHEATED..OOH THE GUILT!

I went on vacation this weekend and tried very hard to stick with the diet but with all the buffets(i was in reno) i failed. I felt terrible all weekend, emotionally and physically. But more so physically. I realized how terrible I feel when I eat carbohydrates. I was on induction for a week and a half before I cheated. I have not weighed myself yet, but am wondering how detrimental a weekend of cheating would be to my weight loss?? I did not overeat this weekend but definitely indulged in lasagna and dessert.....I feel soooo terrible but I restarted induction today!
    Age: 22
    Height: 5'3
    Start Weight: 182
    Current Weight: 182
    Goal Weight: 115

Restarted Induction for the very, very last time on: 11/29/2005

Just jump back on the boat and start at day 1 again, it has happened to many of us and the important thing is getting back into it right away and not to keep telling youself you will start again 'tomorrow' which was my biggest mistake because 'tomorrow' did not come back until I had gained 80lbs.

Good luck and don't be too hard on yourself

def don't be too hard on yourself... learn from your mistakes... this is like the fourth time i've come back to atkins... and i'm doing better now then ever just forget about it or you will dwell on it and then eat the wrong things again i know from experience... start again and be strong

Yup that happened to me a ton of times before I started this last time. I swear I restarted 15 times but this time I made up my mind to do it no matter what. I think this was a great learning experience you know now what it feels like to be eating all that crap again and how it made you feel emotionally too. This will only make you stonger and make your dedication to this WOE even more so so take it as a learning experience and just start over. It may have put you back a bit but, you got on quickly and that's what matters. You'll get back to ketosis is about 3-4 days and then you'll be losing again. :hug
