  • Day 3 menu...please review/advise

Breakfast: 730am 2 eggs with pam spray (ran out of butter), and .5 cup of cauliflower/cheese/mayo/mustard/sourcream mixture

Lunch 11:00 Ribeye (8oz) 3/4 cup cauliflower with cheddar (1/4c), mayo and mustard mixed.

Dinner: 9:00pm 2 chicken thighs and 1cup of collardgreens

Water: 75oz but will drink more tonight

Exercise: Didn't do any exercise today.

I know I ate late, wasnt' feeling so hot today and spent a lot of time in bed. Wasn't hungry. Had to force myself to eat when I did eat. The proof in that for me is that I made chocolate coconut cookie squares for my son to take to school tomorrow. They smelled heavenly and looked even better. But I didn't even think about eating it. Well, I thought about it, but I didn't do it. Also, my family had ribs for dinner. Normally I would eat them. But I wanted a clean induction with no sugar, so I passed because of the bbq sauce. I made my chicken and was fine.

    Fiber: 10 0 0%

It is late and I can't eat another thing. And my carbs are already high. I can't think of anything I can eat that I can tollerate with no carbs. I tried to eat another piece of chicken but could not bring myself to. Now I am remembering the WOE from 1999. Back then, I would just be surrounded by food and wasn't tempted.

I had great success though....I was actually losing weight and inches...I just want to see that now.

Looking forward to hearing from you....

my sister is 6 months pregnant, and this sounds like something she'd eat.

You're not deducting your fiber? You've got lots of veggie room there

Your menu looks pretty darn good, really!

        Cheesy cauliflower..

It is actually really good. I got it off the bag of frozen cauliflower that i bought. It added, curry, cheese, mayo and mustard. I don't like curry so I added mayo, mustard, sourcream and a little nutmeg and cinnamon for the spice. It is hot and cheesy almost like substitue macaroni. My husband even ate it!

Fiber? I only heard the fiber deduction thing since the death of Dr. A. I just counted the carbs when it worked before. I am afraid to go over 20 carbs. At least on induction...I want to do what I know...and if it does't work...then I give up. I want to knwo I did EVERYTHING I could.

        Thanks

No. Fiber subtraction was not something that came up after Dr. Atkins passed away. Fiber is not absorbed, which is why it's recommended for digestive issues. In the '92 DANDR, it clearly tells us to deduct fiber & that was Dr. Atkins' rewrite, not Atkins Nutritionals.

          ....jotting down the recipe. Thanks
