Weeeell...you're not supposed to have leaded coffee but I don't think 2 cups is going to be a big deal. If it had been 2 pots that would've been different! Lol! If you had 3 splenda's then you've hit your sweetner allowance for the day, so just make a note of that. I'm not a morning person either so I feel for ya! I think you'll be just fine. :hug"Only request in my behalf both inward and outward strength...that I may not merely be called a Christian, but really be found to be one." -- St. Ignatius of Antioch, Epistle to the Romans

You know what I find "wakes" me up better than a cup of coffee ever did? Exercise!
Walk a mile in 15 minutes, and your heart is pumping enough blood into your brain to wake it up, plus you get the other health benefits of exercise, including using up calories and speeding up your metabolism.
2 cups of coffee, provided they were 8 ounce cups, contains 2 net carbs. (yes, coffee and tea have carbs and must be counted towards your daily carb totals) Depending on the amount of half-and-half you used, we're talking another 1 to 3 net carbs (if you stayed within your 3 tablespoons daily limit). Plus the 3 Splendas and you've used up 6-8 net carbs for your liquid breakfast.
You might want to read over the FAQ section of this board, specifically the FAQs concerning caffiene and this diet. Granted as Finelly said, some folks drink caffienated drinks and still lose weight---but at what cost to their insulin regulation, we don't know, unless they measure it.
