  • Cocoa?

Is natural baking cocoa safe for induction? I read the label and it says 3 carbs, one of which is fiber. Please reply! Thanks

Treat it as a "spice". Use sparingly. But yes, it can be a real lifesaver. On the atkins.com board, there is a nice recipe for a frozen chocolate slushie of some sort that is induction legal and is, as I recall, delicious!

I don't know how "allowed this is" but I use heavy whipping cream, eggs and a pack of splenda with a tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder to make a chocloate mousse. I keep it in the freezer 1. b/c it's hot and melts if I dont and 2. b/c youeat less of it. I only eat it when poeople come over for a dinner party or when everyone else is eating dessert, so I don't stare at them drooling....
