  • Help!!! Sausage On Induction!!!!!!

I was just wondering if we can eat any, and all types of sausage. I need something quick to eat before work so I buy the Jimmy Dean Heat-n-Serve. So all I have to do is heat them up.....are we aloud to have things like that? Or do I have to buy the big roll and cook em' myself? HELP, i'm confused!

    Thanks for the help everyone!!!

Most sausage has hidden sugars. It may say no carbs but look in the ingredients and see if sugar is added. When I want some breakfast sausage I get the rolls, but only the hot flavored ones. They seem to not have as much of the bad stuff in it. Even then, eat sparingly if you are on induction.

      Nope!!
It depends on what is in them. Look at the ingredients list and make sure they contain no items that are not on the allowed list of foods for induction.
No starches and other fillers like breadcrumbs (most UK sausages are out because of fillers btw) and if they contain sugars in the form of corn syrup etc then you need to find out how much sugar they contain.
They have to list the ingredients with the largest quantity first so if they have a mention of sugar at the end of a long list of lots of other ingredients they might be OK - but you must see how many sugar carbs are listed before deciding.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Theres lots of variety on inductions. You jus gotta look for it. There are different kind of sausages out there. And who says you always have to eat breakfast foods for breakfast?

I thought that meats like sausage had to be cured with sugar.

Many sausages are just minced up meat with spices added so dont have sugar at all.

We live near an Amish community, they make the best sausage! No fillers or sugar or anything. Just check the labels on the sausage, you'll find one that doesn't have sugar. You can also have bacon, ham, an omlet with eggs, ham, onion & a little green pepper, a hamburger patty, or this bacon swiss cheese quiche that I love to eat cold sometimes I got the recipe from this site:

                    Re: Help!!! Sausage On Induction!!!!!!

I found these all natural no sugar added no carb sausage patties at the local health food grocery. I cook a package of 8 at one time and reheat them in the microwave a couple at a time for breakfast or a snack. Check your local hippie grocery for the same things.

I also tend to eat chicken breasts for breakfast. I use the good ol George F grill and cook up a pile of chicken breast. Reheat in the micro and eat one in the car with my fingers on the way to work.

I hate eggs and bacon. Eeewwww.
