  • Day 6!

So far so good....except I had some barbecued chicken at brother's house yesterday.....I took some of the chicken that had the least amount of sauce on it. It wasn't a sweet sauce (thank goodness), but I know all barbecue has sugar in it unless it's a special low carb sauce. Other than that little mishap everything else is right on target. I don't want to start my induction over unless this keeps me from losing?

I have never been so ready to complete my first two weeks of induction!!! When I first started in August of last year, I read parts of the book, but never really did the 2 week induction properly and added in rungs out of order but in small amounts. I managed to lose 55 pounds, but it totally slowed down then stopped several months ago. I have been so frustrated, but it's my own doing. After realizing how IMPORTANT it was to read the book and follow it as closely as possible, I decided to reread and work the induction. Unfortunately, this is my 2nd or 3rd try on induction. The first two failed due to having beer or wine with dinner. What an I was! I knew I was going to have to start all over , but I did it anyway. I did learn from it though. I just celebrated my 34th birthday and didn't touch a glass of wine to toast or even have a slice of birthday cake. I am thinking I am off to a pretty good start?

That is fantastic! And the best part is that you learned.......and now you know!
I doubt the teeny bit of sauce will hurt you, so you just keep on going!

hey nomore... I wouldn't worry *tooo* much about a stall after losing 50 pounds, from what I've read around here people often stall several times on their way down, sometimes for a long time. But, you're doing pretty much what they do to kickstart it - go back on induction! So, you're on the right track and bbq sauce won't hurt you in the long run - might just mess you up for a couple of days if anything.

I'm on day 7 right now myself, so i'm with you! I had 2 vodka-sodas on friday night, but other than that i've been good.

Just in case anyone else is wondering about making mistakes/slipping up in during their 14-days induction . . . you dont start recounting your 14 days but just continue where you left off - so if you do eat off-plan on day 6 just go back to induction at once and count your next day as day 7.

Congratulations on staying firm on your birthday nomorekugel, you ARE off to a good start
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
