    There are soooo many Atkins books. Does anyone have a suggestion on which book is the best one for Newbies?????

    Sure, that would be DANDR, edition 2002.

    You need nothing else except maybe a few cookbooks, until you are about to maintain, then get Atkins for Life.

    Easy as that!!

      Just to clarify, DANDR is short for Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, version 2002...that's what we follow at this site.
